This week Year 6 journeyed to deepest, darkest Surrey for their eagerly anticipated residential. They all had a brilliant week taking part in activities from fencing and rifle shooting to abseiling and climbing. Each evening there was an event to finish the day - the highlight being our whole class game of ambush: hide and seek as a group in the woods at night. This game was taken extremely seriously and everyone enjoyed a week in each other’s company getting to know their classmates and adults in the school. A huge thank you to all the children for their behaviour and bravery, to all parents for helping us organise this exciting week and most importantly to Mrs Foran, Ms O’Reegan, Miss Thornton and Mr Gould for giving up their time to ensure the children had an exciting, safe and enjoyable week.
