Year 1, 2 and 3 Saying Sorry Service
On Tuesday as part on our Lenten journey, Father Richard led all the children in Years 1,2 and 3 in a short service to think about how we can become closer to God during Lent. We thought about all the things we use our hands for: praying, sharing a meal, helping others, painting and much, much more. We thought about all the things we had to be thankful for that we have received from the hand of God: our families, friends, our talents, our school, the beauty of the world we live in amongst many others. We then thought about the times when we don’t use our hands to be a help to others and tried to make this our target during Lent. Father Richard blessed the children and we prayed together after listening to The Word of God.
