Author Visits
Virginia Ironside
Virginia Ironside is a local author who we have been very fortunate to welcome into our school this year.
During visits, she has shared her wonderful book 'The Huge Bag of Worries' with classes 1-6 and stayed for a Q&A session with each class.
The children were so excited to hear her story and to meet an author in real life!
Virginia has also come in to mark special events throughout the year such as World Book Day. This year, she presented certificates to all of the children who entered the Pearson National Writing Competition!
