St John XXIII Catholic Primary School Inspiring Faith in our Future

Well-Being Events and News

This year at St John XXIII we will be holding lots of events, workshops and initiatives to help raise the profile of, celebrate and support the mental health and well-being of our entire school community.

Make sure you check back here for regular updates, newsletters and information about everything happening at St John XXIII related to mental health and well-being.

Mind and St John XXIII

This year we continue to work with the mental health charity Mind. We are very lucky to have the support of such a fantastic charity.

Every Thursday, our Mind Mental Health Practitioner is based with us in school. Our practitioner works across the school offering pupil and parent workshops and working 1:1 with children and families to offer mental health and well-being support. Our practitioner is also here to support and advise our staff and provide signposting to other resources and help available.

Staff from Mind also regularly visit to provide training for our staff so that we are better equipped to care for our mental health and well-being and those of the children we work with.
