On Friday morning, many parents attended the ‘Supporting children with their transition from Year 6’ . It was great to hear that parents found the information shared by Daniel Osei, our Mental Health Practitioner, useful. Daniel joins us from Mind and is in school to support and help educate the children around mental health and well-being.
If you were unable to attend this morning, please find attached the information from the workshop. This handout also includes some useful links to other resources to support your child with transition and the move to secondary school.
We are aware that this time of year can be rather pressured for our Year 6 children and so if you have any concerns please feel free to contact your child’s class teacher, any of the school senior leadership team or Mr Bloomfield as the school well-being lead.
