This week Mrs Kelliher and Miss Cotton delivered a phonics workshop to Reception and Year 1 parents on the Set 1 sounds that children learn when they start to read. All parents who attended participated brilliantly and joined in with sounding out the sounds. Parent all received the speed sounds and support with how to form the letters. They also received an email with the resources and video links to everything that was shared. After the Easter holidays we will host a Set 2 workshop and then before the end of the year a Set 3 one.
