St John XXIII Catholic Primary School Inspiring Faith in our Future

Year 2AP Class Assembly

On Thursday, Year 2 performed a wonderful class worship about two significant stories we have learnt this year in RE, the Ascension of Jesus Christ and the story of Pentecost. These stories hold immense spiritual and historical importance, and it was incredible to see our Year 2 pupils engage with such meaningful concepts. They made remarkable references to how people became Christians more than 2000 years ago as well as how those actions are still carried out by Catholics nowadays. Moreover, they displayed a great understanding of our class Saint - St John XXIII - and the relevance of his work in our lives.

Our Year 2s also showcased their musical talents by singing two beautiful songs that they had learnt with Mr Daledone.
