Summer 1
The new Sir David Attenboroughs..
The pupils have thoroughly enjoyed our new Non-Fiction text 'One Day on our Blue Planet....In the Savannah' by Ella Bailey. They have learnt lots of facts about animals of the African Savannah, especially lions.
The pupils worked hard to put all their learnt facts into a script to create a voice-over commentary for a short YouTube video about lions.
Fractions and groupings
This term Year 1 have been introduced to Fractions through making and recognising equal groups and sharing equal amounts.
7 Continents Experience Day
What a wonderful sight to see the pupils dressed in either international clothes or in colours from a country from around the world for our 7 Continents Experience Day.
A huge thank you to the parents who also came in to talk about different countries and to the parents who were able to cook yummy food like noodles, falafels, samosas and pancakes.
