Athlete Victoria Ohuruogu's visit
On Thursday we welcomed Commonwealth medalist Victoria Ohuruogu. Victoria is a track athlete who competes in the 400 metres. She won the silver medal in the event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Every child was pit through their paces in a fitness circuit involving mountain climbers, press ups, star jumps and lots of lots of smiles.
Victoria then spoke to all the children about her journey and how patience and perseverance are vital in anything we set our minds to. It was a really enjoyable event and our recent school Panathlon team were lucky enough to have their medals presented to them by Victoria herself.
