On Monday 26th June, to begin our remarkable International Week, both Year 6 classes enjoyed a delicious 'desayuno' at Marlborough Primary School. Several activities were carried out by the Spanish teachers of both schools - Mr Pastor and Mr Mora. The first activity consisted of a series of questions that pupils had to ask each other in order to get to know a bit about themselves. After this first initial activity, pupils danced a popular dance called 'La Macarena´. They really enjoyed following Mr Mora´s and Mr Pastor´s moves. To continue with what was a fantastic morning, the children played bingo to reinforce their knowledge of numbers and colours. Once they finished, they had some succulent and delectable Spanish pastries and the main dish, Spanish tomato bread, which contained tomato puree, olive oil and salt.
It was lovely to see how our pupils interacted with other pupils in Spanish and how cheerful and engaged they were throughout the whole event.
