Shakespeare Week
Shakespeare Workshops
As a part of our Shakespeare Fortnight Years 2, 4 and 6 were very excited to take part in some workshops with 'West End in Schools'. They explored two of William Shakespeare's famous plays, 'The Tempest' and 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. In these sessions, the children were introduced to the texts and unpicked the different characters and the themes of the play using a variety of speaking and listening activities. They particularly enjoyed acting out scenes from these plays and taking on the roles of the different characters, imagining how they would speak and travel. Years 2, 4 and 6 participated with great enthusiasm and thoroughly enjoyed this experience!
