We teach our children that writing is a process. There are many steps taken before a finished piece of writing. We encourage our children to proof read their own work as well as the work of others. To provide constructive criticism to better eachother's work. We want to make writing a safe space and teach our children to learn from our mistakes and feel safe to experiment and push themselves in their writing. We believe that publishing our work is equally as important as drafting and editing as it gives our children the full scope of what being a writer entails.
