Pupil Lead Faith
At St John XXIII our pupils not only take an active part of the celebration of our Catholic life, but also take pride in leading it.
Children have the opportunity to:
- Model prayer and worship for other children in the school
- Read and write prayers for Mass
- Think about our weekly Mission in class and for the whole school.
We are reminded of the importance of our involvement in the practical act of prayer and worship by Pope Francis who reminds all of us:
Dear young people, please, don’t be observers of life, but get involved. Jesus did not remain an observer, but he immersed himself. Don’t be observers, but immerse yourself in the reality of life, as Jesus did.
