Year 2 Experience Day
Northern Europe Experience Day!
Year 2 had a busy day on a mountain exhibition in Northern Europe! We started by thinking about what we would need to pack in our bags, we used our knowledge of the climate to help us. We also thought about what we might like to see there, for example, the fjords or the Northern Lights!
On the mountains we found some animals frozen in ice!! We had to investigate what was the quickest way to melt the water to save them. After that, we saw the Northern Lights and were inspired to create a piece of artwork.
After all our work, we had earned some tasty food to refuel! We tried some food often eaten in parts of Northern Europe such as pastries, smoked salmon and skyr yoghurt. Yummy!
