St John XXIII Catholic Primary School Inspiring Faith in our Future

Beginning of term mass

Start of Summer Term - Easter Mass

On Friday we gathered in church to celebrate Mass as a school and parish community. We sang ‘Alleluia’ again after it had not been sung for the whole of Lent and it was wonderful to have the church filled with praise, celebration and life.

Fr. Richard explained to us all about the Paschal Candle in church and how it reminds us of the light of Christ that we can welcome into our lives.

We had beautiful hymns (thanks Mr Dalledone and the choir) and lovely readings from some of our pupil chaplains and Year 6 members: thank you to Oliver, Maggie, Lilia-Grace and Trinity for their help in organising the Mass.
