Love of Reading
We hold many events during the year to promote children's love of reading. Some of these events include:
- Scholastic Book Fair
- Assemblies based around a book
- Stay and read sessions
- World Book Day Celebrations
- Children's International Book Day
- Book Swap
- Book Buddies
We are always looking for more ways to celebrate the love of reading we have in the school so please come and lets us know of any more ideas.
Our key principles for developing reading for pleasure are:

High quality texts with depth and interest in story, character, illustration, vocabulary, structure and subject matter
