St John XXIII Catholic Primary School Inspiring Faith in our Future

Welcome to St John XXIII - Our Vision, Mission and Intent

Welcome to St John XXIII - Ofsted Outstanding June 2022

Welcome to St John XXIII Catholic Primary School. We are an Outstanding two form entry primary school with a Nursery attached.

Our school is a wonderful family community, where our children are supported and encouraged by our parents, staff and governors. Each child's talents are nurtured and developed throughout their years with us, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Our high expectations and high standards are combined with a sense of creativity, excellence and enjoyment, firmly underpinned by our belief in the Gospel Values of Jesus Christ at the centre of all that we do.

Children have excellent opportunities to participate in Spanish, French, Music, Dance, Drama, Sports, Gardening and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths). We enrich the curriculum with experience days, visits, workshops and residentials to fully immerse children in our curriculum offer.

As an Outstanding school, we are aspirational for our children and want to ensure we are preparing them, alongside our parents, to be ready for their future milestones. It is our duty to support parents in equipping children with life skills. We do this by hosting career days, STEAM challenges and  Shakespeare Fortnight.

Learning is a life long journey. At St John XXIII, we are here to offer your children an excellent starting point from which to build their futures. We are here to 'Inspire Faith in our Future'.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.  Please explore our website to find out more about us.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Karen Cunningham - Executive Headteacher

Mrs Sinead Finn- Head of School

St John XXIII Vision, Mission and Intent

St John XXIII is an Ofsted Outstanding school (June 2022) . In October 2018, the Diocese of Westminster carried out their inspection of the school and agreed with our self evaluation that the school was Outstanding for Catholic Life and Outstanding for Religious Education.

The school continues to grow from strength to strength, always looking for new and inspiring ways to bring the curriculum to life for our children.

As Governors and Senior Leaders, we believe the school has continuously been an Outstanding school, to quality assure us on this, we continually invite in consultants, the Local Authority and Advisors to inspect our school and to give their opinion on the quality and standards of our offer to families.
