St John XXIII is a Mind Pilot School and as such work closely with Mind on many intiatives to develop our knowledge, understanding and practices around mental health and well-being. The Mind MHST (Mental Health Support Team) have provided the resources and explanations of what the MHST and Mental Health Support Worker do in our school.
Molly Phillips is our MIND Art Therapist, who works in school every Thursday to support children.
Our work with schools
Through the Whole School Approach (WSA), we worked with schools to improve the mental health and wellbeing of everyone in their school community.
The 2021-22 Whole School Approach was funded by QBE Foundation. We worked with 5 local Minds and 14 schools across England and Wales to support 10,975 pupils, their parents/caregivers, and 1,440 members of staff.
Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind provides a range of services to support children and young people. Our services range from individual advice and 1 to 1 support to workshops and groups. We work with children, young people, parents, carers, schools and education staff.
