Our International Summer Fair is our annual celebration of the cultural diversity within our school. Students, parents and staff work together to showcase and share various aspects of their cultures, transforming the school into a real treat for the senses.
On Friday 27th June, colours, sounds, aromas and flavours from all over the world blended together giving the school community the opportunity to experience a range of continents, countries and regions as they wandered through the school playground.
This year, Let's Leap provided Go Karts as an activity for the children mas well as a bouncy castle. Little Foxes arranged for one of their coaches to do 'Beat the Goalie'.
On behalf of all of us at St John XXIII, we would like to extend a massive thank you to all parents/carers who attended the International Summer Fair and to those who donated prizes and international dishes. What a turn out! From amazing performances, food, face painting and to many exciting activities available during the event. I am so pleased to say that we mad just shy of £6000 on the day of the fair. The grand total was £594.60.
