Year 5 Visit to Royal Observatory

We enjoyed a fun-filled and busy day at The Royal Observatory on Monday. We started by exploring exploring the history of The Royal Observatory, which linked with our Year 5 humanities topics. We even had the chance to stand on the Prime Meridian! Next up, we journeyed into space to explore our Solar System in an immersive experience in the planetarium. After lunch we then had an engaging lesson about the phases of the moon and lunar eclipses! A super day all round and we cannot wait to apply all of our new learning to our Science and Humanities lessons.
