Welcome to Spring 2! As the days begin to feel a little warmer and brighter, we are looking forward to another exciting half term of learning, exploration and fun in our classroom.

Stay and Play & Mystery Reader Fridays

We are delighted to continue our Stay and Play sessions on Thursday afternoons this half term after such a fantastic response last term. It was wonderful to see so many families joining us in the classroom.

Stay and Play gives parents and carers the opportunity to learn alongside their child, see how they explore and learn in the classroom, and spend special time sharing activities together. It also helps children feel proud and confident showing their grown-ups their learning environment, while giving families a better understanding of the skills and activities we focus on in school. We hope to see many of you joining us again!

We will also be introducing Mystery Reader Fridays this half term. Each Friday at 3:00pm, a mystery special guest will visit our class to read a story before home time. The children will love guessing who the mystery reader might be!

If you would like to be one of our Mystery Readers, please contact Mrs. Hamilton to arrange a date. You are welcome to bring a favourite book from home, read a story in your home language, or borrow one from our class library.
