Year 1 STEAM day
On Thursday 19th June, Year 1 participated in their STEAM activity, 'Sneeze Zone!'
The children took part in an interactive activity to explore how germs can be spread through coughing and sneezing. Using spray water bottles, the children tested the range of a single sneeze! They then moved on to explore the impact of covering the nose and mouth with a hand or tissue before washing their hands to highlight the importance of good hygiene. The children had great fun in this activity and observed that one single 'sneeze' had travelled up to 3 meters!
