Year 1 Experience Day
Year 1 - 7 Continents Experience Day
Year 1 had a fantastic time during their Geography Experience Day as part of their topic ‘The 7 Continents’. The children arrived dressed in international costumes or the colours of different national flags, creating a colourful and festive atmosphere. They took part in a special show and tell session, proudly sharing fridge magnets, flags, photos, and stories from countries they or their families have visited as well as items that represent their own heritage.
Throughout the day, the children enjoyed a variety of fun and engaging activities to help consolidate their learning about the continents, including exploring different cultures and landmarks. A highlight of the day was a the Spanish lesson, where the children had fun learning simple words and phrases to spark their interest in world languages as well as singing 'La Bamba' song. It was a joyful day with hands-on learning!
