Jubilee Festival of Hope
On Tuesday, 8 pupils from our pupil chaplaincy team were selected to take part in Westminster Diocese’s Jubilee of Hope. To mark the Jubilee Year, over 130 schools were invited to join in celebrating a liturgy lead by Cardinal Vincent Nichols. The day was amazing to be a part of and the children were wowed by the sheer size of the event. There were children from all over the diocese as well as representatives from Caritas, Cafod, the Cathedral and many more.
We also saw some ex-pupils, now at a Catholic secondary school in the diocese, who were providing music for all the visitors. It was lovely to see our pupils going on to further develop the talents they discovered at our school.
What a special day!
