Year 6 Islam trip
Year 6 enjoyed a brilliant tour around somewhere we thought we knew very well this week. We were led around White City and Shepherds Bush discovering the impact of Muslims on our local area: from the gym that Mohammed Ali trained at, to the local coach maker who established the first mosque in London. We also looked at how the area had changed and why it was known as White City. What a fascinating way to understand our local area better.
