Year 1
In Year One, we work consistently on representing numbers in various different ways. Through the use of concrete resources, we can truly understand the value of digits, when working with the Place Value of numbers within 50.
This contributes further to our understanding of addition and subtraction, as well as our understanding of the number bonds to 20.
