Year 5 Class Assembly

Year 5 delivered a fantastic class assembly this week! The subject of the assembly was all about diversity - not the dance group, but the differences between us and how we can celebrate those differences. The children did a fantastic job and delivered a really important message about treating everyone with equality and respect. Well done to everyone in 5B!

As part of the assembly the children also performed a poem called 'The British' by Benjamin Zephaniah. If you've never heard the poem before, check it out using the link below. It is a brilliant poem all about the amazing diversity that makes our country special.
