Reception celebrated The Lunar New Year Celebration with a Chinese New Year Experience Day!
All children were invited to wear red- a very special and lucky colour for the Chinese.
We learnt all about how many cultures around the world celebrate this festival and why and we got to experience eating some food that is typically shared and eaten on this special day as well: some noodles, prawn crackers and some fortune cookies too which was our favourite!
