Year 1 at Royal Kensington Gardens
Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Royal Kensington Gardens.
We got to explore the palace and learnt about Queen Victoria who was actually born at the palace! We saw how she was a lonely child whose best friend was her dog called Dash.
We learnt about the toys she used to play with and even had a go at playing with these ourselves, comparing them to the toys we have today.
We all agreed that although Queen Victoria was lucky that she didn't have to go to school like we do- we wouldn't like to have been taught at home and we wouldn't have liked to not be able to see our friends everyday. We definitely love school!
