Cross-Curricular Writing
Writing is never isolated to just our English lessons. We encourage writing across a range of subjects such as RE, History, Geography and Science. This is a great opportunity for the children transfer skills taught within their English lesson thus promote a mastery level of writing.
We aim to establish a passion of 'writing for pleasure' amongst our pupils. We provide them with opportunities, outside of lesson time, to participate in writing events such as writing competitions or carefully considering questions they would like to ask visitors coming in to our school.
