Year 5 trip to the London Eye

Today Year 5 visited the London Eye to continue their investigations into the London Eye Mystery (the book by Siobhan Dowd) that we have been reading in our English lessons. We went in the hope that revisiting the scene of Salim's disappearance would give us some ideas as to what has happened to him.

Fifty keen detectives journeyed into Central London with nothing more than their detective notebooks and their inquisitive natures. Many clues were found, many theories were tested and our lunches eaten - unfortunately, however, after our 30 minute ride we were none-the-wiser. A brisk walk up Whitehall and through St James' Park to see Buckingham Palace followed (The King wasn't in) and then it was time for home.

Most of us were still clueless nevertheless a good time was had by all.
