This week we were fortunate enough to have the STEM For Change Program come into our school! We were delighted to be considered for a program that would enable the children to partake in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths initiative which would allow our pupils to learn the fundamentals of STEM technologies using drones, coding and programming, and robotics. They learnt about the careers they could pursue in the future which involved these skills.

This week the whole school took part in our 'Storytelling Science' competition in which we read the book 'Little Letters' and discussed what genetics were. Year 1 designed appropriate habitats for the creature in the story and Year 2 creating a suitable life cycle for it. KS2 created a story or poem that described what genetics were and what they mean for us.
