Remembrance Day, November 11th 2020
Remembrance Day marks the day World War 1 ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918.
A two-minute silence is held at 11am to remember the people who have died in wars.
At St John XXIII, each year group marked the occasion by creating poppies which we have displayed around our school. Some children even brought in pictures of their relatives who had fought during the war.
May we always remember and give thanks to them for their courage.
